Who We Are

Co-President & Co-Founder
Jaiveer Bedi
Hello, my name is Jaiveer Bedi, and I am a student of Indian origin studying in Singapore. I have always been deeply passionate about various fields, particularly space exploration, mechanics, and computer science. From a young age, I have been drawn to the STEM disciplines, pursuing these interests for my personal growth and fulfilment. Apart from my academic pursuits, I am also an avid golfer and dedicated social worker. I find great joy in assisting those in need, spending time on the golf course, and going out with friends. With an outgoing and positive personality, I strive to make the most of every situation and enjoy life to the fullest.

Co-President
Aakash Ganeshram
Hello, I’m Aakash Ganeshram, a rising junior at SAS and a co-president of JBP. I was born in Singapore, but between the first 8 years of my life I moved between the US, and Hong Kong, before finally coming back to Singapore American School in 3rd grade. I joined JBP in my sophomore year in hopes of making an impact on local Singaporeans. In the basketball leagues I play in, a couple of the teams are formed through local students who play basketball out of necessity, which is what drove me to try and make change for the people I compete with. I hope that through our efforts in this club, we can slowly make a difference in Singapore’s issue with invisible poverty.

Officer
Neo Verma
Hey, my name is Neo Verma. I’m Indian, but I’ve lived in Hong Kong for 15 years and then I moved here to Singapore in my sophomore year. I have many passions and hobbies, academically and athletically. I am particularly drawn to the fields of finance and economics, as I enjoy investing as well as the thoroughness needed to succeed in the discipline. Athletically, I have played several sports since a young age, everything from basketball to swimming to cricket. Currently and for the past few years though, I have picked up distance running, also competing with the varsity cross country team. The reason I joined JBP was so that I could fulfill the part of my personality that wanted to give back. Fortunately, I have been blessed with an amazing and comfortable lifestyle, and I feel a lot closer to completeness whenever I’m helping the community that we live in. I am outgoing, friendly, and optimistic, and I live trying to make life as perfect as I can for everyone around me
